Dr. Shelly McIllree
General Practitioner

Dr. Shelly McIllree completed her medical degree at Monash University (graduating with Honours) and is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. She also has a Bachelor of Medical Science (graduating with Honours) and has wide ranging experience across various facets of medicine.

Dr. Shelly has a warm, friendly and patient nature. With an interest in Women’s health and Obstetrics, Dr. Shelly has an enviable reputation for providing preventative care, along with a proactive and rigorous approach to testing and diagnosing, and implementing appropriate treatments that compliment and enhance the overall health and wellbeing of her patients.

Having over 20 years experience at Vermont Medical Clinic, Dr. Shelly has overseen the care of countless patients, at times spanning 4 generations of a family, and dealing with a cross section of ages and issues.

Dr. Shelly is accredited for shared obstetric care at Mercy Health and Eastern Health. Dr. Shelly can oversee iron infusions and osteoporosis treatment infusions and is also available for the insertion of the Implanon contraceptive. Dr. Shelly can perform minor procedures in-clinic which include plastering, suturing and removing minor skin lesions.
